GVL operations in India are run by Prof. Dhrubes Biswas at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. GVL India is an enthusiastic and active player in the network. GVL India is currently working on bringing health care to the bottom of the pyramid through the health kiosk project.

GVL India is heavily involved in the daily operations at the Science and Technology Entrepreneurs’ Park (STEP) at IIT Kharagpur which helps turn individuals with science and technology background into successful entrepreneurs, spawning low-tech as well as high-tech products.
